Tropical Power Smoothie

Start your day with a burst of energy and nutrients with this Tropical Power Smoothie. Packed with vibrant flavors from pomegranate juice, pineapple, kiwi, peach, and mandarins, this smoothie is a refreshing tropical delight. The avocado and banana add a creamy texture, while the protein powder gives you the fuel you need to power through your day. Ingredients

  • 2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 1 peach, sliced
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 4 -5 mandarins, peeled and segmented

Peel all your fruits, except for the peach and add all ingredients to the blender. In the summer I like to use frozen pineapple (which I always have in my freezer) to keep the smoothie cold without adding ice cubes.

Make sure you use good quality protein powder. In this case I used chocolate, but if you prefer vanilla or unflavoured it’s up to you. I get mine protein powder from Amazon, but you can also find it in most health food stores, Walmart or Costco. When you buy on Amazon, make sure to check a price/kg listed next to the price. It’s amazing how some vendors charge way more than the others.

Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Depending on the power of your blender it should take 1-2 minutes. If the smoothie is too thick, add more pomegranate juice to adjust the consistency.

Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately!
