Celery and Pineapple detox smoothie

The Celery blends perfectly with other ingredients which makes this detox smoothie so versatile. As long as you keep the two main components – pineapple and celery, you can add and omit fruits and vegetables without sacrificing too much flavour. For example, if you don’t like grapefruits, use oranges instead. You can also add berries for more flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 celery stalk (chopped)
  • 1/2 grapefruit (peeled)
  • 1/2 bunch of fresh parsley
  • 8-10 leaves of fresh mint
  • 1 cup brewed green tea (cooled)

Add all ingredients into the blender and puree until smooth. Enjoy it.

Parsley is a great source of vitamin K, A, C and other antioxidants, which help reduce the risk of serious health conditions like diabetes, stroke, heart disease and cancer.

Mint leaves are good source of vitamin A and antioxidants. They boost your immune system, treats all your stomach woes and helps with allergies and asthma. Mint leaves promotes acne-free skin, takes care of your oral health and beats morning sickness and nausea.

Green tea is considered one of the healthiest beverages on the planet. Fights inflammation, loaded with antioxidants, may lower the risk of some cancers and heart disease.
